You’ve already been given some great info as to Barbie’s origins. I do not believe it is because of Barbie’s looks that girls are anorexic or bulimic. Barbie does not play a part in how girls view their bodies, but many rights groups believe she does, so they want you to believe it too and try to force their beliefs upon society. Barbie actually plays more of a role model in terms of what types of clothes to wear or careers to have.
