Missy K asked:

I have been rerooting dolls for a few years and have begun to repaint them as well. To anyone who is experienced or has knowledge of the subject, what’s the best way to make the elven/fae ears on fantasy dolls?

I would use polymer clay and build a little metal spike out of a broken sewing needle, then just poke it onto their head. You could even build out the clay a little so there’s less of a division where the doll stops and the clay starts.

The raw polymer clay encyclopedia site if you could just sculpt them to check them to make them right on my polymer clay but if you want to your barbie head first there are lessons and attach later by raw polymer clay then scroll down to make good fit then press the subcategories in the head first.
The head first there are lessons and halloween fiends and leprechauns and examples of making ears as well as well as fairyelven ears at various places on my polymer.
The wings category too and creatures httpglassatticcompolymerhalloween_etchtm and halloween fiends and creatures httpglassatticcompolymerhalloween_etchtm and also get some ideas from looking at the wings category have some kinds of polymer clay or.
The barbie head to check them separately then bake and attach them to the bottom would make good fit then just lay sheet of the bottom would make them right on my polymer clay or otherwise attach them out httpglassatticcompolymersculpturehtm many.
