Many are you can wash them by hand and then tumble them in the dryer on cool air. I do not think they would scent the plastic. or You can find a small seam and remove the stuffing and replace it with fresh stuffing from Michels or a local cloth store. I always use chop sticks to restuff. Wear a nose mask while doing this. Look on the doll and see if she is washable. Many are you can wash them by hand and then tumble them in the dryer on cool air.
