Hi all,

I just purchased a Barbie Halle Berry “Catwoman” doll on ebay (nrfb and cheap). I love her with one exception: her lower arms! They’re designed to look like arms on a black cat and she’s got weird cat fingers. I know why that is, I just don’t like it because I may want to dress her in different outfits and now i can’t (her hands are arc shaped and will not fit into fashion gloves). Fortunately, her lower arms are jointed and I was thinking, maybe I could replace those arms with arms from another doll with the same complexion (without the cat hands!). Anyway, I am looking at the joints and I don’t see how I can get the tiny bolts out of the elbow to exchange the arms. Does anyone here know the best way to do this so that I don’t damage her arms completely? answers from doll hospital craftspeople is best. I appreciate serious answers only-non serious answers will be hidden. Thanks.
Thanks Carole! I thought about just replacing the body. the problem is catwoman’s body is very small and every other barbie doll I have seen is too big. I am waiting on a bid for a doll on ebay now-maybe I will be in luck with exchanging heads. But great answer.

Gary
